What is Grief?

While I primarily work with couples, I also work with organizations that experience a crisis or traumatic event on their worksite. I help explain the grief that can arise during these times, how to seek out support and connect them to their employee assistance program to receive continual support. During COVID-19, grief is an experience that many of us are going through. Grief over loss of connection, grief over actual loss if you have a family member impacted by COVID, grief over uncertainty. Take some time to think about your grief, what stage you are in and what you need to support yourself during this time.
