Change Takes Time

When it comes to our individual goals or our relationship goals, we have to remember that change takes time.

Often couples come to counseling and they want the change immediately, yet they are not always willing to take the action or steps to make the change happen.

We also have to find what will be sustainable and realistic for the change to become a reality.

If you have a communication issue in your relationship, it will take effort, action, and time for you to change your communication.

If you have a conflict issue in your relationship, it will take effort, action, and time for you to change the conflict dynamic.

Do you see where I'm going?

Change takes time. It is not instantaneous; it does not happen overnight. Please remember to get the change you want requires space, time, and energy to get there.
